The earth is getting warmer and warmer than ever. It is true that global warming is taking its toll on human beings everywhere. In some countries in Asia, floods and following landslides killed hundreds of people and spread infectious diseases. Many areas in European countries were also flooded and suffered wildfires. Unfortunately, it costs an astronomical amount money to restore damaged homes, buildings and other structures back to normal. Carbon dioxide that cars and plants emit is the main cause of global warming. Facing this environmental disaster, countries throughout the world are taking steps. The government encourages people to participate in car pooling or use public transportation. And renewable energy sources are replacing fossil fuels.
